
Aziz Jan, born in 1986 in Saudi Arabia, is a versatile musician whose passion for Western music began in childhood. His early exploration started with music scales on Oud taught by his father and soon shifted to the guitar, which remains his primary instrument alongside bass and piano. Over the years, Aziz expanded his musical skills by learning the saxophone, flute, violin, and cello, all while deepening his knowledge of music theory.
Professionally, Aziz has been teaching music since 2017 and received formal training through the National Orchestra in 2023, where he honed his skills in theory and performance. He’s an active member of three rock bands and the National Orchestra and composes music for films and video games. His notable works include compositions for films such as “Sa’diyya Sabat Sultan” and Lebesna Al-Layla” and directing music for the film “Rollem”. Aziz also participated in a shadow program in London, further enriching his artistic experience.
As an artist, Aziz values hybrid authenticity and originality. He embraces the cultural movement in Saudi Arabia and strives to contribute meaningfully through his music.
