CLOCK Life-wide learning programmes

An alternative to formal learning

What is learning in a community of practice?

The CLOCK International Community consists of lots of different individuals that engage in one or more specific activities or ‘types of practice’. They do this online or wherever they live, play or work.

We develop different skills by doing practical activities with others.

CLOCK identifies the 3 kinds of skills that we learn together in a Community of Practice as:

  1. PRACTICE
  2. SHARING KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  3. DEVELOPING SOCIAL POTENTIAL

CLOCK Explorer (Equivalent to EQF Level 1)

Discover and explore something you love doing

The CLOCK Explorer programme supports you to find an activity that makes you happy or makes ‘time fly’ as you are enjoying it. This could be playing the piano or a musical instrument, baking, cycling, editing a video, making beats, painting or drawing, designing fashion, building a game for others to play etc.

Who is it for?

All learners trying out a new practice alongside others

There is always collaborative learning with an open curriculum for any type of practice with people from that community of practice to ask questions, speak to, watch and learn from.
