Nadia Khan stands centrally within the global music industry; renowned for her work building inclusivity and sustainability through her award winning 20 years of experience. As the Founder of CTRL Music, Nadia has been a pioneering force, nurturing the development of music creators and professionals alike. This drive for gender equality led her to establish Women in CTRL, a non-profit organization that has been instrumental in driving significant progress towards gender parity in the music industry.

Nadia’s career is a testament to her visionary leadership. She has successfully helmed independent label businesses and held the prestigious role of Chair at the Association of Independent Music (AIM), the UK trade body for the independent music sector. During her tenure, Nadia launched Amplify, a groundbreaking paid apprenticeship scheme that provides vital opportunities for women and non-binary individuals in the music industry, further solidifying her commitment to inclusivity and empowerment.

Currently, Nadia serves as the Chair of Earth Percent, a climate foundation charity in the music industry founded by Brian Eno. Earth Percent recently made waves by launching Nature as a verified artist, a bold campaign in collaboration with partners such as UN Live. Beyond her work with Earth Percent, Nadia is also a board trustee at In Place of War, amplifying her impact on global music and cultural initiatives.

Nadia’s dedication to diversity and inclusion has not gone unnoticed. She has been recognized with several accolades, including the Outstanding Contribution Award at the 2021 Music Week Women in Music Awards. Her unwavering commitment to creating a more equitable music industry continues to inspire and drive change.
