CLOCK makes invisible skills visible and valued.

CLOCK recognises, validates and certificates the types of learning that happen outside formal education contexts in schools, colleges or universities. CLOCK includes lifelong and life-wide learning for everyone at any age or in any context.

CLOCK is for non-formal learners who learn more comfortably and successfully outside a formal educational setting. CLOCK is based on a relational ‘Community of Practice ‘ model of actively engaging in practice with others in a dynamic setting rather than memorising a static or standardised curriculum of ‘subjects’,  topics or themes. The word, ‘CLOCK’ stands for ‘Collaborative Learning Open Curriculum Kit’ which means learning in a community of practice, with any practice that can be supported by Sector Experts of that practice in the context of that practice with the essential ‘Kit’ to recognise, validate and badge and/or certificate the non-formal learning with stackable ‘microcredentials’, digital award badges and equivalent-to-formal certificates.

Re-purposing your Career, Team, Organisation or Enterprise with CLOCK

Professionals in various fields often overlook the range of skills they have acquired and integrated into their work over their careers. CLOCK uncovers these invisible skills and aligns them with international professional practice and higher education levels of qualifications frameworks. Our approach focuses on validating sector-specific and transferable competencies embedded in work products, processes, innovation and advocacy activities that provide acute awareness of the level of non-formal learning achievement. This process acknowledges expertise through rigorous critical reflective practice with sector expert peers and results in instilling the personal and professional confidence earned and the ability to clearly articulate the postgraduate level of practice and community know-how and confirm the level within the context of the dynamic business environment. This validation process ‘kicks imposter syndrome right out of the park!’

Within an organisational setting, CLOCK provides the opportunity to develop leadership teams in a project or community context, recognising the skills, strategies and experiences of innovation, teamwork, and leadership. CLOCK can collaborate with organisations to help grow and acknowledge a workforce that achieves the required levels of professional practice, collaborative and dynamic peer-to-peer learning and the social capital building of the workforce, clients and networks critical for the business.
